Joining EGA as a graduate trainee in 2011, Wafa, a trailblazer as the first Emirati woman to join the company’s Metallurgy department, plays a critical role in ensuring the quality of EGA’s products.

Excelling in STEM studies from an early age, Wafa was drawn to the challenges associated with chemical engineering, driven by a desire to break new ground and be a role model to others. Beyond her professional achievements, Wafa enjoys a fulfilling personal life, finding joy in travel, kayaking, and tending to her farm.
